2 pcs AA batteries(NOT included) powered. 915MHz and 868MHz support dialing the dip switch to freely switch between ℃ and ℉. 433MHz only have °C. If you want to pair this device with GW1100 wi-fi gateway(sold separately), please refer to the GW1100 quick start to get the wi-fi configuration procedures. One GW1100 gateway can only connect one WN32 Outdoor sensor.

Q1: What if I purchased the wrong frequency?
A: For example, if you are in Europe and have already mistakenly purchased the 915 MHz products.
Although the products sold in European are 868 MHz, it is ok for you to use them in Europe as long as the sensors and the gateway/receivers are the same frequency(for example, they are 915 MHz).
However, the hiding problem is that once you mistakenly purchased 1 device with 915 MHz frequency at first, when you need to purchase other ecowitt devices, you need to purchase them with the same frequency too. Only in this way can make sure the sensors and the receivers work together.
Q2: What are the differences between WN32 and WH32?
A: They are the same products and there is no difference in terms of functionality.
Q3: What are the differences between WN32 and WN31?
A: 1. WN32 sensor worked as dedicated data for "Outdoor Temperature and Humidity". The WH31 sensor works as"Multi-channel Temperature and Humidity"sensor. And maximum of 8 sensors can be hosted on a same receiver.
2. The WN32 sensor data can be hosted on weather underground, while WN31 data is not supported on WU.
Q4: Can the WN32 sensor freely switch ℃/℉?
A: Now only 915MHz and 868MHz support °C/°F, 433MHz only have °C.
Q5: What are the differences between WN32 Indoor and WN32 Outdoor?
A: WN32 Indoor measures temperature, humidity and barometric, which is designed for upgrade HP2550 and HP3500.
WN32 Outdoor measures outdoor temperature and humidity, which is designed for replace data of WS69 WS80 WS90 or upgrade WS68 WH40. If you already have WS69, WS80 and WS90, please don't buy WN32 Outdoor. Unless you want to replace the temp & humidity.
