NEW ARRIVAL: LilyDrip SAKURA+CFS
It is named after its shape, such as Sakura bloom. The 7 long grooves of starflower are changed into 5 long and 5 short grooves. The 5 short grooves guide part of the water flow to filter out at a lower position. This part of the water flow has a longer extraction path and brews a stronger body.
NEW ARRIVAL: LilyDrip GIO & COS
In March 2020, Giorgio visitacion won the champion of the Philippine National Coffee Competition and won a ticket to WBRC2020.
Giorgio used a combination of lilydrip (doughnut) and Tetsu Kasuya V60 filter.
After the competition, Giorgio praised the stability of lilydrip, and expressed his desire to customize lilydrip for the V60 filter of Tetsu Kasuya co branded version.
One month later, lilydrip GIO was completed. Giorgio decided to use lilydrip GIO for wbrc 2020. However, due to the impact of covid-19, WBRC2020 failed to be held as scheduled.
In order to let the Baristas experience the surprise brought by lilydrip GIO as soon as possible, Giorgio decides to make the lilydrip GIO public. He is full of confidence in the control of lilydrip GIO.
LilyDrip GIO is an upgrade over Donut, with a flume in the bottom half that still provides "fast and steady" brewing support when paired with a tight outlet filter.

* SPEED UP BREWING: shorten the depth of coffee bed, which allows you to speed up the brewing with a same grind setting, and also allows you to grind the coffee finer without brewing way too long.
* EVEN BREWING: Thinner coffee bed can also benefit the evenness of your brew. Upper layer and lower layer of coffee bed are closer to each other, the different of extraction levels are smaller. As it allows you to grind coffee finer, distance between particle surface and core will be shortened too(same issue as the upper lower layer).

How to brew with the LilyDrip?
1.Gather your materials.
You’ll need your pour over filter (the Hario v60 is used in these photos), the LilyDrip ceramic piece and the “Rapid Filter Shaper”
2.Shape the filter.
First fold the filter along the crease and then place the filter on top of the “Rapid Filter Shaper.” Use your finger to gentle press the filter into the shaper to form an inverse cone. You can also use the LilyDrip to help shape the filter (but be careful not to rip the paper).
3.Place the LilyDrip ceramic piece within the brewer.
Gently place the ceramic LilyDrip at the bottom of any cone shaped brewer. The LilyDrip helps the filter maintain the inverse cone shape during brewing.
4.Place the filter on top of the LilyDrip.
You may also wet the filter at this stage.
5.Add coffee grounds to the brewer.
On top of the LilyDrip and the filter and your coffee grounds. Pour them easily around the filter and give them a gentle shake to level them out. After the grounds are in place you are ready to brew your pour over coffee as usual.
