Shop recommendation
Big foot car uses 700 or 800
Off road vehicles/short trucks use 500 or 600
Flat/rally bikes use 300 or 400
Drifting cars usually use between 300-400cst
Number differentiation: A small number represents thinness, while a large number represents high concentration
Capacity: One bottle of 2oz, approximately 59ML
The larger the shock absorber oil number, the higher the concentration, the stronger the damping, and the smaller the number, and vice versa
Shock absorber oil can be used for 1/8 car, 1/10 car, etc. It can be filled with 1-5 different shock absorbers of varying sizes and quantities (for reference only)
Conversion between WT/W and CST
10WT=100CST 20WT=200CST 30WT=350CST 40WT=500CST 50WT=650CST
60WT=800CST 70WT=900SCT 80WT=1000CST=1K
Attention: Differential oil and shock absorber oil are essentially the same, the difference lies in their concentration, so if there are special adjustments, they can be used interchangeably!
Shock absorber oil provides damping and shock absorption. The higher the number, the greater the concentration, and the slower the shock absorption response. Players need to choose the corresponding fuel number based on the car's settings, ground conditions, and personal preferences.
Precautions for installing shock absorbers: Before installing shock absorbers, you can soak the shock absorber O-ring with shock absorber oil. This will cause the O-ring to expand, increasing the sealing performance of the shock absorber. When pouring shock absorber oil, it is recommended to add 80% first. Slowly push the shock absorber rod up and down a few times, being careful not to release shock absorber oil from the shock absorber piston. Then let the suspension stand still for a period of time (usually placed on the suspension frame, or you can use a cardboard box to make a few small holes and then place the suspension on top). After all the bubbles inside the shock absorber are removed, you can fill the shock absorber with oil and then seal it with a lid.
Shock absorbers are prone to oil leakage, so if players have higher requirements, they will regularly maintain and upkeep the shock absorbers. Just a shock absorber with good precision has less oil leakage and good sealing performance.
When installing shock absorbers, you can also apply green oil on the O-ring to increase the leak prevention effect!
