SVBONY 7nm dual band filter is designed to drastically reduce the effect of light pollution. The 7nm bandwidth means it strongly isolates

the nebulae's emissions into H-Alpha (red) and OIII (green-blue) from anything else. It blocks light pollution, maximizes the signal from

nebulae, and darkens the sky background. It also blocks artificial light from mercury vapor lamps, high- and low-pressure sodium vapor

lights, and unwanted natural light caused by the emission of neutral oxygen in our atmosphere.

Dual Narrow Bandwidth H-Alpha/O-III 7nm Narrowband Filter Properly Designed For astrophotography of emission nebulae, planetary

nebulae and supernova remnants. The high transmission and sharp cut-off greatly enhances the contrast of image and brings out the

most detailed information of those deep-sky objects.

The SV220 SII & OIII 7nm is a Duo Band Filter. It is designed to be used in combination with the SV220 H-Alpha & OIII Duo Band Filter to provide a superior method for achieving the SHO (Hubble Pallet) narrow band colour balance with colour imaging cameras. The SII and OIII Filter provides the missing band data so that owners of colour cameras can achieve the SHO colour balance in their narrow band images. The Duo-band filter (SII+OIII) has a high transmission of over 85% at its center wavelength (500.7nm and 672nm). It can effectively improve the quality of the image by making the sky background of the image darker while maximizing contrast throughout the image and enhancing the contrast of your pictures, thus making it easier to display the details of the stars. In areas with very serious light pollution, this filter can also selectively filter light pollution.
