Features
1. Carbide burs are made of tungsten. Due to the extreme hardness of the Tungsten Carbide they can be used on much more demanding jobs than HSS (High Speed Steel). They maintain sharper cutting edges for longer periods of time due, and tolerate higher temperatures without warping when you apply friction.
2. The 6mm shank is the mount of your burr that fits into your rotary tool, micro motor or die grinder etc. The 6mm shank rotary tool is more stable than 3mm or 1/8" shank rotary cutting bits.
3. Carbide burs are tools that are used for precision in grinding, cutting, welding, jewellery making, wood carving, shaping, model engineering, cylinder head porting and sculpting. Additionally, they are used for deburring, where burrs, excess materials, sharp edges, and weld beads are removed.
4. You can use carbide burrs in many industrial tools, such as micro motors, air tools (e.g., die grinders), flexible shafts, and pendant drills, high speed engravers, pneumatic rotary tools and hobby rotary tools.
Use Tips
The speed of the rotary tool or die grinder is depended on the material you are using it on. It's ideal to start the milling slow and graduallyincreased. Normally, the best RPM for 1/4 shank carbide burr is 11,000-16,500. and please don't exceed the speed of 35,000 RPM. Processing all kinds of metal(including all sorts of hardened steel) and non-metal (such as marble, jade bone),machining hardness reach < HRC70.
In a great part of the work, it can replace the petiole small wheel, and no dust pollution.
