Cross roller guide is a linear guide with limited travel, which has alternating orthogonal precision rollers. This product provides rigid and flexible linear motion, which is particularly suitable for linear guidance where high rigidity and flexible motion are required.
Structure of VR cross roller guide
In the VR model, the roller retentors, where the precision rollers are aligned directly with each other, are used in combination with a 90°V grooved rolling surface set on a dedicated track. By assembling 2 rows of roller guides in parallel, the guide system can withstand loads in 4 directions. Moreover, by applying pre-pressure to the cross roller guide, a sliding mechanism with no clearance, high rigidity and light movement can be obtained.
